To complement their existing plant at Kirkby Thore, British Gypsum recently engaged us to produce and install a complete feeder and hopper assembly for them. The SFH46 feeder duplicates an existing Locker unit utilised for the same process and is produced from high grade carbon steel. Both the feeder and the interface are fully lined with 6mm abrasion resistant plates.
The hopper itself has sloping faces lined with 10mm ‘perplas’ low friction liners and an approximate volume of 14m³. The system is capable of up to 250TPH (based on avg. bulk density of 1600kg/m³).
